21.06.04 Springstone website reopens
Yes, we made it - just!
Ecoworks managed to give a few days of their heavy workload schedule to finish off this, the new version of the Springstone web site, and uploaded it on the Summer Solstice 2004. This new version is vastly different from the previous two and makes more use of the faster bandwidths now available, the first one having been designed around the speed of a 28k modem. We even remember the days when we couldn't have 'springstone' as a domain name as it had too many letters!
We have no intention of making Springstone into a vast sustainability site but we just thought it would be a good idea to show you that there are people out in the world taking sustainability and environmental impact seriously and having a lot of fun doing so. It's much more enjoyable and satisfying to get on and do it, rather than just talk about it.
